Our recent Christmas Makers Market in photos!!

Thank you to all the lovely stall holders that brought their fantastic items for sale last Saturday.

We hope you all enjoyed the atmosphere and the great food, face painting and kids craft on offer.

Here are some lovey photos of the day!

A message to our toy library members

We are in the process of entering all the Toy Library members into our new online borrowing system and as part of the process you will be sent an email asking you to confirm your email address.

If you don’t receive this email and are an active member can you please email us? As we don’t want to miss anyone as we transfer from the current system to the new online borrowing one. Many thanks!

Christmas ... what's coming up

Thanks to everyone who came along and did their Christmas shopping on Saturday at our Makers’ Market. And thanks to those that volunteered (Hazel, Elaine, Marie-Louise and Kevin). It was a great day! Once again Kalimna took some lovely photos and we post some of them this week when she is in the office.

And in the meantime … we have two more events coming up to round out the year:

  1. Christmas Lunch - join us on Friday 9 December at 12.30pm for lunch in the garden. It will be yum and fun! You can RSVP here.

  2. Christmas Carols - on again at the Alphington Bowls Club at 7pm on Sunday 18 December. School will be finished and so it will be a perfect night to bring the family along and join the Alphingtones Choir to sing ALL THE FAVOURITES! Bring along a gold coin to donate to charity.

Do you like our updated Christmas Tree? This year we’ve kept the community drawings and added some red paint and some gorgeous pink and red pompoms. To bring some Christmas cheer to the street.

Please return toy library hires

Our Toy Library is transitioning to an online booking system thanks to some Inner North Foundation funding.

We’re nearly there, and to complete the process we request that all borrowed toys be returned to the centre so they can be logged in the new system.

We hope our new online library (which will be up and running as soon as we’re open in 2023) will be a vast improvement and will better enable our community to access all the wonderful toys we have here at ACC.
