Covid has struck

Poor Kalimna has Covid this week. And so does my husband Clive … which makes me a close contact.

In the interests of not sharing the love (I don’t want anyone at ACC to catch Covid from me if I catch it from Clive etc.), I am working at home for a couple of days with my laptop at hand and the office phone diverted … so although our physical office is closed our virtual office is fully functioning!

And despite our absences the majority of our programs are still running … Maimi was here Thursday with Japanese Playgroup and Maylei ran the Women in the Shed program on Thursday too. Clare was here on Friday for gardening … and our after hours groups can of course let themselves in - and don’t need us. So really there’s minimal disruption - just our friendly faces missing for in person enquiries and casual chats!

Hopefully Kalimna is feeling better soon and is ready to return to work mid next week (she sounded pretty sick and miserable a couple of days ago) … and hopefully I don’t get it - this time at least (it feels a bit inevitable now doesn’t it …).
