An odd collection - to get you started

This horoscope was published by the NZ police on their Twitter feed this week. I think the Victorian Government is also promoting it …

  • Thinking you might like to get into art?  Here is a link to 10 free art classes. OR perhaps you'd just like to admire it?  Here is a link to 12 virtual museum tours.

  • One that I am yet to take advantage of, but am keeping in the back of my mind, is the new public Facebook group called Northcote, Thornbury & Fairfield Takeaway that you can join for daily deals. The link, is here

  • Another comes from Maree who is a mum at Fairfield Primary School. She runs SeeChange, the gym on the corner of Arthur Street and Heidelberg Road. Her gym has alwasy been family friendly, and is now offering $10 online fitness classes - and the best bit is that the whole family is welcome to join in. You'll need to download the zoom app (but who doesn't in this new world - just do it! It's going to be worth it). Click here to see what's on offer when.

  • Here is an article that links you to Yale's most popular free online course - The Science of Wellbeing.  The course is all about how to be happier in your daily life, and it combines psychology and concrete action and change. Sounds good!

  • Looking for something a little light weight? Just a laugh? Here is a UK sports commentator applying his skills to the mundane every day.

  • And Here is a Facebook link to watch Neil Diamond singing fireside ... some modified lyrics to Sweet Caroline for our modern times.  AND another Facebook link here to watch a Nana with some terrific moves (aspirational for us all, no matter our age!).

  • For primary school kids, here is a link to BBC lessons. Shakespeare and slam poetry - looks great!  And a daily PE class suitable for a loungeroom is here
